The slopes in Malá Úpa are of varying degrees of difficulty. Whether you're learning to ski or advanced, you'll find a place to ski. Beginners can also enjoy gentle slopes and children's parks. More adventurous skiers can choose between the blue and the red slopes.

The whole area is connected by lifts, slopes and connecting passages which allow skiers to ski from one resort to another (Pomezky and U Kostela).A great combination for a skiing adventure with stunning views, picturesque scenery and perfectly groomed slopes.

A refundable deposit of CZK 100 is required for ski passes.
Children up to 6 years old ski FREE (born in 2018 or later) - only valid when purchasing a season ticket accompanied by an adult. (Package 1 adult + 1 child up to 6 years). Tickets can be bought online, at the ski area ticket office and at the resort ticket office.

Children's Skimu Park with a carpeted, fully covered track (75m, next to the Hořec Centre). Areál Pomezky disponuje vlekem a sjezdovkou rozdělenou na horní část, s náročností odpovídající červené barvě, a spodní část, s náročností odpovídající modré barvě. Spodní stanice vleku Pomezky se nachází v 1 050 m.n.m., a tím se řadí k jedné z nejvýše položených sjezdovek v Česká republice. Vysoká nadmořská výška a automatické zasněžovací systémy ručí za kvalitní sněhovou pokrývku po celou sezónu.

The slopes, Pomezky 1000 and the slope in the Skimu Park, are snowed with fully automatic snow guns. To refresh tired skiers, the Skimu House restaurant and après-ski is open right on the slopes. The indoor/outdoor space can accommodate up to 110 customers, and the largely glass building offers a direct view of the entire slope.

The Apartments Sport accommodation and sports centre, open daily from 9.00 to 21.00, is located below the ski slope. Significant discounts are available for the sports centre (badminton, tennis, racquetball) when you buy a day or multi-day ski pass. U Kostela ski resort includes five ski slopes served by four lifts, the upper part of U Kostela 1 000 ski slope corresponds to red difficulty. The degree of difficulty of the remaining slopes is indicated by the blue colour. An automatic snowmaking system guarantees quality snow. Under the U Dědka a báby ski slope there is also a dětský Skimu Park and a refreshment area.

If you are skiing on the last day at U Kostela and you want to go up the last run, you can hand in your ski pass at the cash desk and after consulting with the cash desk you can go up without a ski pass.

Feel like a real racer and go head-to-head with your friends on the timed slalom course. The use of the track is free of charge.

The traffic to the historical centre of Malá Úpa will be reduced - the main road to Moravanka will be more pleasant for walkers and cyclists.
Skiing has become much more comfortable and much more enjoyable thanks to the network. Admittedly, some sections are harder to ski, but at least it gives everyone a chance to practice different skiing skills.
Some of Blackwater Valley's chalets (údolí Černá hora) are even more desirable - SKI IN SKI OUT - opening the chalet door and jumping straight into skiing is every skier's dream.
